Can the one who suffers from the Pilonidal sinus perform the prayers and be the Imam?

Scholars have differentiated by the blood and pus that go out from inside the anus or from outside it. The first type makes the ablution invalid while the other type does not invalidate it. Imam Nawawi said that the blood and pus that go out from the piles which are inside the anus invalidate ablution while the excretions such as blood or pus that go out from piles which are outside the anus do not invalidate ablution. However, they should always be wiped especially before performing the prayers. Moreover, if the one who suffers from these excretions which go out from outside the anus acts as an Imam, his prayer and the prayer of others are valid.
