I am a widow whose financial situation is bad. The pension that I take is only 500 ILS. Thus, I live with my brother’s family who can hardly afford basic stuff. I totally depend on oxygen tank to breathe as my lungs do not function well or completely. I tried to fast without oxygen, but I had complications and was about to be hospitalized. Should I pay ransom if I do not fast? Allah says: “Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope.” Al-Baqarah: 286. What shall I do?
