What is the ruling if the family of the victim takes revenge and kills the murderer once the court does not decide or execute capital punishment?

The Palestinian Legal Verdict Council represented by Shaikh Muhammad Ahmad Hussain decided that it is not allowed for the family of the victim to take revenge as this may lead to consequent series of murders. There might be some evidences which show some misunderstanding. Some innocent people might be killed by mistake. Many crimes might be committed. Therefore, the only responsible organization for issuing and executing capital punishment is the Islamic court.
